Black Voices FROM BIG BROWN

Untold Stories of African Americans at UPS

My passion is bringing people’s stories to life through powerful images, so when UPS approached me to photograph more than two dozen African American executives for their project, Black Voices from Big Brown, I immediately said yes.

This project arose to reveal the hidden narrative of Black achievement at UPS’s highest management levels. Through eight days of shooting and collaboration with these impressive people, we laughed, cried, and high-fived, as they shared their time and hearts. The images capture the grace, strength, and dignity with which they have defined themselves. I’m honored to have been a part of it.
